**** What you’ll be doing:
*** Review applications and financial requirements to determine acceptability of risk in accordance with guidelines and standards
* Evaluate and price risk using rating tools, predictive models, and financial analysis.
* Apply underwriting guidelines and tools to review accounts, document decisions, and manage appeals, requirements, and declinations.
* Adhere to Sompo Pro guidelines and underwriting discipline to minimize exposure and appropriately price
* Manage assigned portfolio to achieve gross written premium, profitability, rate, retention, product mix, new business and portfolio management goals
* Prioritize time and resources to effectively manage and optimize producer performance
* Develop producer relationships to build pipeline, agency intelligence, and drive performance to meet and exceed results
* Drive effective relationship management and customer activities to build trust, facilitate negotiation and secure commitment with the customer
** What you’ll bring:
*** 2-3 years of Insurance experience
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Ability to travel approximate 10% of the time
** Salary Range:** $75,000 - $125,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
