Position SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Traffic Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have trial experience and a strong understanding of Illinois traffic laws, including DUIs, license suspensions, and moving violations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in court and enjoys direct client interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in traffic court, administrative hearings, and criminal proceedings related to traffic offenses.
- Handle cases involving DUIs, reckless driving, speeding, license reinstatement, and other violations.
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for trial.
- Negotiate plea deals and settlements with prosecutors.
- Maintain detailed case files and meet court deadlines.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to clients throughout the legal process.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Illinois.
- 2–5 years of experience handling traffic or criminal defense cases.
- Proven trial experience and courtroom confidence.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
- Competitive base salary up to $130,000
