Portable Book Required - Trusts & Estates Attorney Partner

Salary: $250,000 - $325,000 per year.

Jobot is looking for a Trusts & Estates Partner with a portable book of business and strong business development skills to join our team. Bring 10+ years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and related tax issues. The role involves working closely with clients to navigate complex legal matters and ensuring their estates are secure.

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on all aspects of estate planning, trusts, and estate administration to our diverse client base.
• Draft, review, and revise a wide variety of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Represent clients in probate court proceedings and assist with the administration of estates and trusts.
• Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure effective tax planning and compliance of estates and trusts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to trusts and estates, applying this knowledge to client matters and advising clients of any potential impacts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with regular updates on their cases and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement strategies that best serve our clients' interests.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the IL State Bar.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in estate planning and administration, with a focus on trusts and estates.
• In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to trusts and estates.
• Excellent drafting and document review skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle complex legal issues.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, building strong relationships with clients and explaining complex legal concepts.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and upholding the integrity of the legal profession.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
