Are you an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal looking to join a fast‑paced, collaborative litigation team? LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm seeking a detail‑oriented paralegal who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys meaningful case involvement from start to finish.
- Manage a high‑volume insurance defense caseload from intake through trial
- Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys, clients, experts, and witnesses
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, affidavits, and trial documents
- Coordinate discovery: organize exhibits, summarize depositions, and prepare medical/employment records
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy
- Prepare and file court documents in state and federal courts (including e‑filing)
- Track deadlines, maintain docketing, and ensure timely filings
- Assist with trial prep — trial binders, exhibits, witness coordination, courtroom logistics
- Communicate with IME physicians, experts, and third‑party providers
- Maintain accurate billable time entries and support attorneys with pre‑bill review
- 3+ years of litigation experience (insurance defense required)
- Strong understanding of civil litigation rules, deadlines, and procedures
- Proficiency with legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
