Our client is seeking a Senior Attorney who is legally trained in contract negotiation.
This is a contract position that can be done remotely. Chicago candidates preferred for onsite meetings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex agreements, ensuring terms appropriately mitigate risk and align with business and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize contract management systems and automation platforms to streamline contract review processes, maintain accurate documentation, and support operational scalability.
- Provide strategic guidance on contracting best practices, industry standards, and payments‑related regulatory considerations to enable informed decision‑making across the organization.
- In-house legal or contract management experience
- Experience with in the payments industry is highly preferred
