Project Finance - Energy & Climate Solutions

seeking a lawyer to join its Projects team. The ideal candidate will have five+ years of relevant experience and a strong background in projects finance, with location flexibility across our New York, Chicago, D.C., Los Angeles, and Texas offices.

The candidate must have strong competence in drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in project finance within the renewable energy sector. Experience in reviewing project documentation is preferred. This role provides an opportunity to work on high-profile projects in renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, and other energy transition technologies. This role will sit on our market-leading Projects team.

The Projects team is Band 1 Chambers-ranked in all relevant categories and works on some of the most innovative, complex, and challenging projects in the world.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years' of experience as a projects finance lawyer.
• Experience drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation.
• Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
• Experience reviewing project documentation preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.

Location: This position may be based in New York, Chicago, D.C., Los Angeles, and Texas offices. Applicants should indicate their office(s) of interest in their application. The full time base annual salary for this position in the New York City and Los Angeles market is expected to range between $365,000- $435,000. This range represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in New York City and Los Angeles.

Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
