Aparicio Immigration Law is a fast-growing boutique immigration law firm based in Chicago’s West Loop. We are seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking Associate Attorney with a demonstrated commitment to immigration law and a passion for serving immigrant communities.
This position offers substantial litigation exposure, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and mission-driven practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, highly organized, and eager to develop sophisticated legal skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients before the Chicago Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
- Maintain regular communication with clients, clearly explaining complex immigration issues and strategic options
- Conduct legal research and provide thorough legal analysis to determine case strategies and available relief
- Oversee, review, and manage immigration filings, including applications, petitions, and waivers submitted to EOIR, USCIS, and ICE
- Draft, review, and file legal briefs and motions in a wide range of immigration matters
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure high-quality representation and case outcomes
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law and in good standing
- 1–5 years of immigration law experience
- Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Demonstrated commitment to immigration law and client advocacy
- Competitive salary range: $110,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience
