Office Operations.
Works collaboratively with department management ensuring a high level of administrative, technical, and professional support while providing the Chicago office a high level of customer service. Supports Firm policies and procedures, including but not limited to facilities and operations requests. The Office Operations Coordinator will also focus on the maintenance and functionality of physical work spaces and office surroundings. Responsibilities include assisting with overseeing vendor contracts and preventative maintenance agreements.

The Conflicts Attorney will support the Legal Risk Management department in Chicago with the clearance of conflicts of interest for client matters. The Conflicts Attorney will interact directly with lawyers in the global offices of the firm to analyze and clear conflicts.
Responsibilities Essential Functions- Review, identify and resolve potential ethical and business conflicts of interest issues with respect to clients, matters and new business and incoming lawyers
- Conduct thorough reviews of conflicts of interest reports, resolving issues identified on a timely basis
- Work closely with members of Conflicts and New Business Intake Departments
- Coordinate search requests and communicate with attorneys across the Firm
- Assist firm lawyers with engagement letters and waivers
- Stay current on recent research and thinking on ethics and conflicts best practices and rules across jurisdictions in which the Firm has offices.
- Undertake special projects as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with new software systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail; analytical rigor and problem-solving skills
- Ability to digest large volumes of information
- Work independently, efficiently and handle multiple assignments
- U.S. law degree and law license in good standing status in Illinois
- 3+ years of related experience in conflicts

The salary for this position is $145,000 to $191,800, although the actual salary could be lower or higher if the candidate’s skills and experience level are different from those specified above.
