Title: Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal – Hybrid Role (Chicago, IL)
Location: Downtown Chicago, IL – Hybrid (1 day remote per week)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
About the RoleWe’re partnering with a fast-growing, collaborative law team in downtown Chicago to hire a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal. This role offers the chance to work in a high-energy, team-oriented environment with opportunities to grow and take on meaningful responsibility.
This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work one day per week from home, and the team values individuals who are adaptable, self-starting, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do- Manage and support personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, construction cases, and other PI claims
- Conduct trial preparation, review and summarize medical records, and draft/prepare court documents (motions, complaints, pleadings)
- Assist attorneys with discovery, including issuing and answering written discovery
- Handle administrative and case management tasks, including scheduling, calendar management, and client communication
- Collaborate closely with a tight-knit paralegal team to ensure cases run smoothly
- 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff or defense)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while supporting attorneys
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High energy, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bilingual/Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
- Work with a growing, collaborative, and family-oriented team
