Corporate M&A Associate (5-7 yrs) – Premier Chicago Law Firm

About the Position: Our client, a strong and established Chicago law firm with a highly regarded corporate transactions practice, is actively seeking a corporate M&A attorney to join as a senior-level associate. This practice represents business owners, investors, and organizations ranging from mid-sized, entrepreneur-operated companies to large global companies in corporate counseling, M&A, capital raising, business formation, and strategic planning.

• Manage private company M&A deals from initial strategy through closing, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Advise clients on compliance, board governance, and organizational matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including LLC/shareholder agreements
• Provide comprehensive support to companies on a wide range of general corporate matters

• 5-7 years of corporate transactional experience, including M&A, private equity, and corporate governance
• Strong academic credentials and writing skills
• Familiarity with securities law and/or experience with offerings under Regulation D or similar frameworks

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $320,000.
