Job Details
  • Drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney and other related estate planning documents.
  • Gift and estate tax planning for high-net worth individuals and families.
  • Trust and estate administration
  • Business entity formation and maintenance of corporate governance.
  • Real estate closings.
  • Preparation of federal and Illinois estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns.
  • Collaboration with clients, attorneys, and professionals.
Qualifications
  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • An active license to practice law in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Trust & Estates Attorney, with a strong track record in estate planning, individual taxes, and trust, gift, and estate taxes.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a large caseload, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
