Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm dedicated to commercial real estate with a strong ranking in the Am Law Global 100, has an exciting full-time opportunity for an Associate in the Real Estate Practice of our Chicago office, including exposure to clients from a variety of industries across the country.
Responsibilities- Handle and contribute to real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financings, and development.
- Attend to significant transactional responsibilities with guidance and mentorship from Senior Associates and Shareholders.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with attention to detail and strong client service.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of real estate experience in commercial real estate transactions (acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financings, development).
- Strong interpersonal skills, high energy, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage a challenging workload.
- Strong academic credentials and writing skills.
- Candidates with big firm experience are preferred.
- Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred.

- Salary range: $260,000 – $300,000 per year, with actual pay adjusted based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits described in the posting.
