Tax Controversy/Litigation Associate (2-5 yrs) – Top Am Law 50 Firm
About the Position: Our client, one of the largest law firms across the globe, has an active need for a tax lawyer to join as an associate in its Chicago office headquarters. This firm’s tax practice boasts more than 100 lawyers located across four continents, and lawyers in the practice are continuously recognized as leaders in their fields by Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, and International Tax Review.

Responsibilities:
- Advise on all phases of a tax controversy, including audits, administrative procedures, administrative appeals, and litigation at the trial and appellate court levels
- Participate in litigation matters in the US Tax Court and various refund forums
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience handling tax controversy matters
- LLM in tax preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000 – $365,000.
