Real Estate Attorney, Legal Counsel
Beacon Hill Legal is working exclusively with a prominent Chicago‑based real estate company to hire a Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team.
This role reports directly to the General Counsel and works closely with the CEO and executive leadership
. The Legal Counsel will play a key role in the company's acquisitions, development, financing, and portfolio management activities.
Qualified candidates will have at least four (4) years of commercial real estate experience
, in either an in‑house or in a law firm setting. A comprehensive understanding of the full real estate lifecycle, from acquisition and financing through development, operations, and disposition, is required.
- Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements
- Managing due diligence, compliance matters, and outside counsel
- Handling construction and permanent financing, joint ventures, and investor transactions
- Negotiating operational and other real estate-related agreements
This is a hybrid position based in downtown Chicago, with 4 days per week in the office
. Compensation includes a competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
