2-Bin Inventory Management

  • Maintain all assigned 2‑Bin inventory locations, ensuring items are placed in the correct bins, the room is organized, the 2‑Bin standard is adhered to, and no debris is present.
  • Pick and pull all regularly scheduled inventory to replenish assigned locations with 100% accuracy.
  • Deliver all 2‑Bin replenishment orders to the appropriate location.
  • Restock items in the appropriate bin and perform a cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Check for expired products, replace them, and adjust the inventory count via a cycle count.
  • Perform supplement restocks as requested.
  • Pickup all empty bins and product returns, return them to General Stores with the required paperwork and signature for credit.
  • Conduct a monthly 2‑Bin inventory of designated locations.
  • Use Demand Track regularly to assess inventory velocity and usage, and recommend PAR adjustments to the Supply Chain leader.
Receiving and Delivery Chain of Custody Automation
  • Utilize the automation for all General Stores cycle counts scheduled by the Supply Chain Leader.
  • Use the receiving and distribution chain‑of‑custody automation to document the chain of custody for all incoming shipments and outgoing General Store issues.
  • Operate the automation consistently in accordance with the process provided by the Supply Chain Leader or designated authority.
  • Pick, issue, deliver, credit and administer all General Stores product—including crash carts, inventory carts and other inventory locations—using the designated automation.
  • Release all picked orders using Lawson WH32.2 and sign the required paperwork.
  • Tag all product with the appropriate stickers and follow the velocity picking format to ensure proper utilization of inventory.
General Stores Maintenance and Inventory Management
  • Gather and remove all product delivery skids and debris within the General Stores environment.
  • Rotate all inventory in assigned areas using a first‑expired, first‑out (FEFO) approach and register any expired product per the Non‑Compliant Policy.
  • Manage inventory levels and valuation for the overall General Stores and assigned locations, including cycle count error rate, days‑on‑hand, overstock and obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain a superior level of housekeeping—pick up debris, dispose of unused items, and keep all work spaces clean and organized.
  • Perform regular cycle counts with an error rate of five percent (5%) or less and implement corrective actions based on root‑cause analysis.
  • Carry the assigned pager/telephone and protect it from loss or damage.
  • Maintain a trend chart of total inventory valuation for the assigned location on a monthly basis and post it on the General Stores Quality Board.
  • Provide continuous improvement recommendations to the Supply Chain Director to meet inventory reduction targets.
Receiving
  • Perform all receiving functions for incoming orders, whether bulk or logical unit of measure.
  • Review orders for accuracy and correlation to the appropriate PO and ship‑to location.
  • Identify and address incoming quality issues and errors.
  • Interface with customer service representatives for third‑party shipping entities.
  • Use scanning technology and work standards for all receiving functions.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and use visual management tools to locate tools, equipment and workspace items.
  • Deliver inbound product, analyze problems, troubleshoot misidentified shipments, and disinfect patient‑care equipment per Infection Control policies.
Distribution
  • Manage inventory and execute an accurate pick process for all requisitioned items, keeping any SKU no more than five (5) days on hand without approval from the Supply Chain Leader.
  • Pickup and deliver all requisitioned orders, using bar‑code scanning for signatures and delivery confirmation.
  • Coordinate review and removal of non‑compliant product from green bins, transport it to General Stores, and record it in the online database within the specified timeframe.
  • Return all General Stores equipment used for distribution back to General Stores once use is complete.
  • Coordinate product returns from requisitioning locations back to General Stores.
