Regional Category Manager Active Ingredients
In this pivotal role, the Regional Category Manager Active Ingredients will define and deliver the regional sourcing strategy for active ingredients, aligned with Company's global procurement direction. You will play a key role in delivering value through strategic sourcing, cost savings, supply risk reduction and quality assurance, while strengthening relationships with internal stakeholders and global suppliers.
- Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies for active ingredients using strategic procurement methodologies
- Lead supplier relationship and risk management to ensure secure, compliant and reliable supply
- Conduct market and industry analysis to inform sourcing and negotiation strategies
- Collaborate cross functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and Commercial teams
- Provide procurement input into the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting active ingredient sourcing and compliance
- Support new product introductions and product exits within the category
- Act as Global Supplier Procurement Focal Point for assigned suppliers, leveraging SRM tools
- Identify longer term supply market risks and drive innovative solutions
- Lead and mentor procurement team members, setting objectives and reviewing performance
Qualifications:
Qualifications You bring strong category management experience and thrive in complex, matrix environments. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and enjoy working across regions and functions.
- Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, including senior category management experience
- Background in chemical or pharmaceutical industries
- Experience working within matrix and multinational organizations
- Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with SAP Ariba
- APICS, ISM or CIPS certification, or relevant postgraduate qualifications
Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary range for this position is $109,600 to $139,700 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Company believes in total compensation. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for additional forms of compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, financial, and other wellbeing benefits.
