The Materials Planner is responsible for all aspects of material requirements planning for multiple facilities across the Mark Anthony Brewing network. They are responsible for inventory coordination, obsolescence risk mitigation, and procurement of materials to meet short and long-term production plans. They will also develop and maintain an optimized material planning forecast and network, and support innovation and change management projects.
Accountabilities:- Prepare and distribute monthly and annual forecasts of raw & pack materials to suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships through material supply assurance and vendor performance evaluation
- Maintain product change and new item setup, providing run out plans where necessary
- Identify process improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional efforts to create solutions
- Evaluate potential supply and obsolescence risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks
- Assist in the development of Supplier Quality Assurance processes and metrics and tracking of related KPIs
- Service – Case Fill Rate, Supplier OTIF, Material Forecast accuracy, and continuity of material supply
- Cost – Material obsolescence and risk mitigation
- Innovation, Commercialization, and change management support
- Materials forecasting, inventory management, and related strategy
- Material obsolescence risk management
- New product introduction, change management, and transition planning
- Site inventory and ordering strategies
- Procurement and vendor sourcing strategies
- MRP forecasting and obsolescence management strategies
- Proposed changes that don’t align to strategy, supported by analysis & aligned with leadership

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field such as Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business or Industrial Engineering
- 2-4 years related experience in materials planning, purchasing, or customer supply chain, logistics, etc.
- Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and results oriented – Advanced computer skills – O9, Excel, QAD, PowerBI preferred but not required
- Adaptability and resilience, able to thrive in fast paced, agile culture
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables on-time
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
- Competitive annual salary from $71,000 to $89,000 based in Chicago, IL
