New Product & Promotions Project Manager

What You'll Do

As the New Product & Promotions Project Manager, you'll lead the supply chain strategy and execution for new menu items and promotional initiatives. Working closely with McDonald's, suppliers, logistics providers, and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure every product launch is delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute supply strategies supporting new product launches and promotional events.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams from planning through execution while ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Build comprehensive supply plans that ensure product availability throughout each promotion.
  • Partner with logistics providers to optimize freight strategies and distribution plans.
  • Develop supplier contingency plans that minimize business disruption and ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and brand risks throughout each project.
  • Build trusted relationships with McDonald's, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive successful program execution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and the McDonald's System while monitoring supplier performance and compliance.
  • Lead issue resolution and communicate solutions to key stakeholders across the System.
  • Secure leadership approval for capital investments associated with assigned projects.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product categories.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, execution, and overall performance.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
  • Five to seven years of experience in Supply Chain, Food Manufacturing, Food Commercialization, Restaurant Operations, or the Food Service industry.
  • Strong project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience developing strategic plans and managing organizational change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with in the McDonald's System or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience working with supplier commercialization or product launches.
