Introl is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Data Center Implementation Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale data center infrastructure projects across multiple sites. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, this role will collaborate closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery from design through commissioning.

This is a hands‑on, development‑focused position designed for individuals eager to grow into a full Project Manager role. You will gain exposure to all phases of data center implementation, from design coordination and procurement to on‑site execution and commissioning, while learning best practices in project management and critical infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and execution of data center buildouts, infrastructure upgrades, and white‑space fit‑outs.
  • Maintain project schedules, trackers, and task lists under the guidance of senior project managers.
  • Ensure consistent documentation flow, version control, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collect, organize, and track submittals, design drawings, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare weekly reports summarizing progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Support data entry and updates in project management tools
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to confirm deliverables and schedules.
  • Participate in site walks to observe progress, safety, and quality assurance practices.
  • Escalate field issues or delays to the appropriate project manager or director for resolution.
  • Track and coordinate Owner‑Furnished, Contractor‑Installed (OFCI) equipment.
  • Support shipment updates, staging logistics, and site integration readiness.
  • Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to align materials with build schedules.
  • Assist in monitoring milestones, resource allocation, and cost tracking.
  • Identify potential schedule conflicts or cost variances early and communicate them to leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or assistant project management.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar).
  • Strong computer proficiency — comfortable managing complex data, documentation, and reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to active project sites.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally when needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
