Logistics​/Freight Coordinator – Supporting West Coast Region

• Coordinate freight loads for outbound and inbound shipments throughout LGH locations nationwide
• Maintain focus on process efficiency and cost reduction
• Develop maximum sales potential in assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of company products, services, and competitors
• Book and oversee the full freight process for outbound and inbound shipments, including customer, internal, inventory, and vendor transfers
• Use multiple freight methods to arrange shipments
• Create purchase orders for each shipment
• Verify PO numbers on freight invoices
• Provide daily confirmation of incoming and outgoing shipments to customers, Rental Representatives, freight suppliers, and vendors
• Communicate freight load numbers and shipping pro numbers after freight is booked and shipped
• Select the best freight method for vendor loads to reduce freight costs
• Coordinate with the Rental Desk to confirm scheduled shipments and deliveries
• Provide proactive status updates to relevant parties
• Monitor the Returns Report daily and take timely action according to LGH procedures
• Monitor email and Echo reports to address freight requests and updates promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous logistics experience strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage stress effectively and remain calm, focused, and professional in high-pressure situations
• Must pass criminal background and driving history check
• Must pass verification of employment history
• Must pass hair follicle drug test
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
