Overview
Service Technician role at TLC Management Co for Ravenswood Terrace. The Service Team maintains apartment homes, common areas and grounds with emphasis on efficiency, safety and asset protection. The technician assists the Service Manager with managing expenses within the budget, janitorial duties, preventative maintenance, energy conservation, and ensuring residents receive superior service.
Responsibilities- Maintain apartment homes, common areas and grounds.
- Assist the Service Manager with managing expenses within the allocated budget.
- Perform janitorial duties and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Support energy conservation efforts and ensure high levels of resident service.
- General janitorial duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
- At least 3 years of prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community.
- Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Proactive approach, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Janitorial duties experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate in clear, professional English.
- Knowledge of safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies.
- Ability to navigate stairs and ladders, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime and assist at other residential communities when needed.
- Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to work on Saturdays.
- Foster harmony in the workplace and promote a positive image of the company.
- Ability to perform general janitorial duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Pay: $18/hr - $21/hr
