* Starting pay is $21 - $23 / hour!*
The Maintenance Tech will complete routine repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the community. Provide timely services to all residents for all maintenance related issues. Partner closely with Housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the community for all residents, guests and team members.

The Maintenance Tech will:
- Perform a wide variety of building maintenance and mechanical work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior painting, masonry, drywall repair, small appliance repair, minor equipment repair and troubleshooting; floor cover cleaning (shampooing, buffing, stripping waxing, etc.) as assigned by Director of Environmental Services.
- Promptly respond to maintenance and repair issues throughout the community work order system.
- Assist Housekeeping department as needed to ensure that the community is kept clean and sanitized at all times
- Inspect and prepare all apartments for rent-ready status as per company policy before new residents move into the Community.
- Participate in all required training, orientation, meetings and programs offered by Artis Senior Living.
- Demonstrate respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of resident and community property.
- Effectively communicate with staff members and residents through verbal and/or written means.
- Perform other duties as needed that may be set by the Director of Environmental Services.
Education Requirements:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years previous maintenance experience preferred.
