Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Metal – Apprentice 1. The Metal Apprentice 1 will perform cleaning and maintenance for various metals as prescribed by routine and custom metal maintenance programs. Allied Universal Janitorial Services is a Union signatory, in good standing, of the Painters District Council No. 14 IUPAT, AFL‑CIO. On‑the‑job training is provided.

Paid on the job training.

Metal Division with Allied Universal Janitorial Services. Wage is $20.89 / hour, Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm – 1:00 am.

• Clean, polish, and highlight all types of metals
• Perform architectural bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum refinishing
• Clean and coat exterior metal curtain wall building façade
• Apply high‑performance paints and coatings
• Perform custom tailored metal maintenance programs

• Valid driver’s license, if driving a company or customer supplied vehicle
• No experience required
• No prior knowledge or skills are required

• Stone restoration knowledge
• Work or training experience involving refinishing of architectural metals (revolving doors), window frames, elevators, and escalators, etc.

• Enrollment in our District Council No. 14, 401(k) plan
• Vacation time offered 1‑year (40 hrs), 2‑years (80 hrs), 10‑years (120 hrs), and 25‑years (160 hrs). Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
