Maintenance Director - Nursing Home

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our nursing home facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance, repair, and safety to ensure a clean, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulations
• Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and inspections
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in a long-term care setting is a plus
