The Commercial Carpet Cleaning Subcontractor is responsible for performing on-site carpet cleaning services for commercial clients in the Greater Chicago Area. Day-to-day tasks include assessing carpet conditions, pre-treating stains, operating commercial carpet cleaning equipment, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions in line with eco-friendly standards. The subcontractor will schedule and complete jobs, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and communicate professionally with clients and the Green Collar Cleaners TM team regarding project status and service quality.

Additional responsibilities may include basic equipment maintenance, documentation of completed work, and adherence to company safety and sustainability protocols. This is a contract role and is fully on-site within the Greater Chicago Area.

• Experience with commercial carpet cleaning methods, stain removal, and use of professional-grade cleaning equipment and solutions.
• Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices, safe chemical handling, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Strong time management, reliability, and ability to manage multiple service appointments and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, coordinating with the Green Collar Cleaners TM team, and documenting work performed.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks safely.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation within the Greater Chicago Area, and capacity to travel between client sites.
• Prior experience in commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or a related field; familiarity with linen care or floor care is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as a subcontractor, follow established procedures, and maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
