Environmental Services Technician

Role Overview: This position involves performing essential housekeeping tasks within a healthcare facility, contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing.
• Clean and polish fixtures such as sinks, tubs, and mirrors; restock supplies like soap and towels.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors in designated areas on a routine schedule.
• Remove trash, clean waste receptacles, and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Disinfect walls, ceilings, windows, and other surfaces across various facility areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in Environmental Services or related cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math.
• Familiarity with routine procedures and operation of cleaning equipment, typically learned quickly on the job.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and staff.
