Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility by performing housekeeping and janitorial duties inside and outside the building. This role includes following safety procedures, supporting daily operations, and completing additional tasks as assigned by management. Candidates must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and working in a production environment.

This opportunity is based on a Janitor/Custodian career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

• Clean the interior and exterior of the facility
• Perform general housekeeping duties

• Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products.

• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.

As a Custodian you will clean and maintain assigned work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, emptying waste containers, restocking supplies, and performing routine facility upkeep. You will help maintain safe, organized, and sanitary environments while following established cleaning procedures and workplace safety standards.
