Operations Manager, Business Management
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to work with our founders on the highest-priority initiatives across Recur. Think of this role as a mix of strategy, operations, and special projects – one day you’re preparing board materials, the next you’re leading a portfolio project or refining Recur’s internal AI systems. If you want a seat at the table while building a fast‑scaling acquisition platform, this is it.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Partner directly with the founders on strategy, execution, and decision‑making
- Learn to use the latest and greatest tools e.g. Clay, Claude Code and more
- Build systems and processes that help the whole team move faster
- Drive critical projects across M&A, finance, operations, and talent
- Jump into gaps – market research, portfolio support, or one‑off challenges
- Act as a leadership multiplier: keep priorities clear, communication crisp, and momentum high
- 2–5 years of experience in consulting, banking, investing, or operating at a high‑growth company
- Fast learner who can pick up new skills quickly
- Structured problem‑solver who can make sense of ambiguity and drive outcomes
- Detail‑oriented and organized, but also scrappy enough to roll up your sleeves
- Hungry to learn, take ownership, and grow into a senior leadership track role
This is a rare chance to work hand‑in‑hand with founders at the ground floor of a fast‑scaling software platform. You’ll see the inside of multiple companies, learn how acquisitions are sourced and integrated, and shape the infrastructure of a business backed by some of the world’s best investors.
