Regional Asset Protection Manager

Major purpose and functions of the position:
Direct, support and train Field Asset Protection Managers for knowledge and compliance of department and company directives. Direct, support and train District and Store management in the design, development, administration, monitoring and implementation of procedures relating to the protection of company assets. Establish and maintain strong communication and working relationship with Regional Directors.

Primary responsibilities:

• Monitor the daily routines, investigations, shrink control programs and reports of assigned Field Asset Protection Managers
• Provide direction, coaching and support with the investigation of integrity issues in assigned area and for direct reports
• Evaluate overall job performance of assigned Field Asset Protection Managers
• Monitor, analyze and follow-up on statistical data related to inventory and cash losses
• Administer and conduct audits to create awareness, detect areas of vulnerability and report results to appropriate operational level
• Maintain compliance with company hit store program for all reporting areas
• Assist in the development of presentations for field management and Asset Protection meetings
• Assist Risk Management with on site support when violations of federal or state codes occur and in the event of unusual losses
• Assist Risk Management in administering the Corporate Safety Program
• Maintain timely and accurate reporting of all incidents to corporate Asset Protection

Summary of knowledge, experience and education required: 7-10 years multi-store retail environment in and Asset Protection capacity, Wicklander certified, Excel, Lotus and general laptop skills, strong investigative and communication skills, travel required, work well independently

Desired but not required:
College degree in an associated field
