The firm is seeking a highly driven Managing Director to originate and execute middle‑market transactions while supporting the continued expansion of the U.S. platform. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self‑starter with a strong track record of origination, deep client relationships, and expertise in Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, or Business & Technology Services.
Responsibilities- Proactively originate new client relationships and transaction opportunities through industry expertise and a strong professional network.
- Drive new mandates by leveraging deep sector knowledge and established relationships with private equity firms, strategic buyers, founders, and executives.
- Develop and execute strategic outreach and go‑to‑market plans within chosen vertical(s).
- Lead end‑to‑end transaction execution, including pitch development, valuation guidance, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
- Serve as a senior advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and market intelligence across the deal lifecycle.
- Represent the firm at conferences, industry events, and networking functions to expand visibility and build new relationships.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid‑level team members to support a strong talent pipeline.
- Collaborate across the firm's global offices and sector teams to deliver integrated advisory solutions.
- Contribute to firm‑wide strategic initiatives, sector development efforts, and market positioning.
- Uphold and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and entrepreneurial growth.
- 12+ years of investment banking experience with a strong focus on M&A; previous MD or senior coverage experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in origination and winning middle‑market transactions.
- Deep expertise in Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, or Business & Technology Services.
- Strong professional network and existing relationships with private equity firms, strategic acquirers, and founder‑led businesses.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team‑development skills.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high‑growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
