We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of capacity expansion, distribution, and cable program initiatives that are critical to maintaining system reliability and advancing grid modernization efforts.

This role will oversee multiple large-scale capital projects across programs including voltage optimization, system cable, capacity improvements, and performance enhancement initiatives. The Project Manager will manage projects from engineering design through construction across a broad service territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across engineering, construction, and external partners
  • Oversee projects from initiation through closeout, including contract development and management
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage project budgets (up to $5M+) and ensure delivery within financial targets
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain all project documentation, schedules, and reporting
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices
Qualifications:
  • Experience working within or supporting the electric utility environment (distribution, transmission, or grid infrastructure)
  • Understanding of engineering design and construction practices, including overhead and underground systems
  • Proven experience managing large-scale capital projects (not small-scale initiatives)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or other technical discipline preferred)
  • Experience managing contractors and working with RFP processes
  • Forecasting and budget management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software
  • Minimum 3+ years of related project management experience
