Vice President, Management

Gullwing Growth Partners is seeking a Vice President / Principal to play a senior role in sourcing, underwriting, and supporting early- to growth-stage consumer and CPG investments. This role is designed for a high-performing investor or operator ready to step into greater judgment, ownership, and leadership responsibility within a founder-led, execution-focused investment platform.

The VP/Principal will work closely with the Managing Director and founding partners, with meaningful exposure to investment decision-making, portfolio engagement, and LP interaction
.

• Source and evaluate early- and growth-stage CPG investment opportunities
• Lead diligence across category dynamics, unit economics, margin structure, supply chain, and go-to-market strategy
• Build and present investment memoranda to the Investment Committee
• Support portfolio construction, pacing, and risk assessment
• Partner with portfolio company founders on operational and strategic initiatives
• Support retail expansion, pricing strategy, margin improvement, and operational scale
• Assist with follow-on financings, strategic partnerships, and exit preparation
• Help implement governance, reporting, and performance tracking best practices

• Contribute to the evolution of Gullwing’s consumer investment thesis and playbooks
• Build relationships across founders, operators, and industry partners
• Mentor and oversee Associate-level team members
• Support LP communications, portfolio reporting, and fund materials

• 6–10+ years of experience in consumer investing, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or operating roles
• Strong exposure to CPG businesses and consumer economics
• Demonstrated ownership of transactions, diligence work streams, or strategic initiatives
• Solid understanding of pricing, gross margin, working capital, and channel strategy
• Strong communication skills and founder-oriented mindset
• Interest in growing into a senior investment leadership role
