Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
HPC-Industrial powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Chemical Cleaning Project Manager (Industrial Services) to work at a customer location to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion.
Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services. The Chemical Cleaning Project Manager serves as representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers.

- Reviews project bids to determined project scheduling, resource needs,. May occasionally participate in bid development process under guidance of General Manager.
- Plans project operations to optimize facility efficiency, operation work force selection and utilization, materials, supplies, equipment, and tools, including tracking productivity for labor and material costs.
- Instructs, provides feedback, and directs and assists crew in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and Company policies, practices, and procedures. Enforces Company employee policies and may remove an employee from the job when required.
- Acts as onsite supervision for project/shift team members, including team selection, scheduling, coordination, performance, and disciplinary actions. Includes driving teamwork and active cooperation among team members with each other, project sub-contractors, and customer personnel.
- Accountable for the overall safety, quality, and success of the project assigned.
- Ensures all assigned team members are properly trained and equipped, and materials and supplies needed to do the job are ready and available, including implementing and maintaining a level of cross training so effective functional backups can always guarantee continuous service operation.
- Analyzes and controls operational expenditures including labor and equipment to conform to budgetary requirements to ensure project is completed within productivity, cost effectiveness, safety, and timeline requirements.
- Ensures all inspections project-related inspections are performed by due dates and compliance with Company and customer requirements and policies.
- Complete and review (JSA's) Job Safety Analysis and all safety paperwork.
- Monitor all equipment during process for integrity and efficiency.
- Ensures compliance with identified job specifications and work quality expectations, including seeing that immediate corrective action is taken if non-compliant.
- Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to wearing personal protective equipment.
- Establishes, maintains, and enforces a preventive maintenance program for all assigned machinery and equipment, including keeping machinery, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Maintain personal PPE.
- Must have the ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, hot, and cold industrial environments.
- Inspect equipment and general work area prior to starting any job.
- Corrects deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity, harm to equipment, or is inconsistent with our client's requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate and document progress and deficiencies with clients.
- Completes and turns in all appropriate paperwork daily.
- Actively monitors operations and seeks input from others to identify and make recommendations to branch management for improvements to machinery, equipment, and job site processes.
- Train Project Managers, Supervisors, and Operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service line processes and necessary paperwork.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 plus years of experience within the industrial cleaning industry. Prior project management and supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in project management.
- Strong knowledge of operating equipment used in service line.
- Ability to comprehend the English language, written and verbal.
- Development and engineer project execution method and process flow diagrams
- Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
