About the Position

Location: In‑office role in the Chicago, IL area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales staff for your locations.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute local market strategies.
  • Identify and close sales performance gaps proactively.
  • Coach the sales team on effective selling techniques.
  • Visit retail locations regularly to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
  • Utilize reporting to provide feedback and encourage improvement.
  • Coordinate with HR on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, retention, and staffing.
  • Maintain relationships with insurance carrier field reps to understand guidelines.
Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of retail insurance experience.
  • Experience managing multiple units (plus).
  • Property & Casualty License (required).
  • 50% travel required within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration.
  • Proficient PC skills (Word, Excel, company programs).
  • Excellent management, leadership, and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work while traveling.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the territory, market conditions, and carriers.
