Location: In‑office role in the Chicago, IL area.
Job Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, and train sales staff for your locations.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute local market strategies.
- Identify and close sales performance gaps proactively.
- Coach the sales team on effective selling techniques.
- Visit retail locations regularly to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
- Utilize reporting to provide feedback and encourage improvement.
- Coordinate with HR on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, retention, and staffing.
- Maintain relationships with insurance carrier field reps to understand guidelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of retail insurance experience.
- Experience managing multiple units (plus).
- Property & Casualty License (required).
- 50% travel required within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration.
- Proficient PC skills (Word, Excel, company programs).
- Excellent management, leadership, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work while traveling.
- In‑depth knowledge of the territory, market conditions, and carriers.
