Tasks
  • Establish and open a new office in the Chicago area in 2026, creating a tangible center of culture and collaboration.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a sales and field application engineering team with a focus on empowerment, accountability, and success.
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand the customer base among OEMs and ODMs and grow existing key accounts.
  • Drive consistent sales performance, ensuring alignment with growth, revenue and profitability targets.
  • Foster close cooperation with global stakeholders across sales, marketing, product management, and finance.
  • Manage a P&L of >30M USD, ensuring profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Represent the Americas region on the Management Team.
Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in a technology-driven B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in sales to OEM’s / ODM’s with longer project cycles — ideally within industrial automation or embedded electronics.
  • Demonstrated success in building or transforming sales organizations and fostering performance-driven cultures.
  • Strong strategic thinking and change leadership capabilities.
  • Customer-oriented mindset, hands‑on leadership style, and ability to inspire and unite people around a shared vision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and intercultural collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English; willingness to travel across the U.S. and occasionally to Europe.
  • Strong roots in the Greater Chicago Area or willingness to relocate.
