Property Manager Position:
The Building Group is seeking a fulltime Property Manager to provide property management services to a portfolio of Condominium Associations. A successful candidate will have experience in property management with strong management, organizational, and personable skills, as well as a commitment to extraordinary customer service. The candidate will need to be a highly motivated self-starter, capable of managing multiple properties, people, tasks, and other matters relevant to the management of Condominium Associations.
- Provide a superior customer service relationship with the Condominium Board of Directors, Staff, Residents/Owners, and Vendors
- Budget Preparation
- Be familiar with monthly financial reports, and be able to analyze and report status.
- Forecast and track all operating and capital expenses
- Supervise capital projects
- Track income and assessment collections
- Use enhanced property management software and systems for reporting
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of property management documents (Illinois Condominium Act, municipal laws, Association Declaration and Bylaws, Property Rules and Regulations, Certificates of Insurance and Vendor Contracts), and operate the property in accordance
- Execute emergency procedures.
- Supervising staff with training and delegation of tasks
- Addressing complaints and problem solving
- Inspect the property to ensure it is being maintained in accordance with resident expectations.
- Prior Condominium Management or Property Management
- Timely Responses
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Professional attire and demeanor
- Professional written and oral communication with staff, co-workers, clients, and vendors, as well as good listening and problem solving skills
- Flexible schedule (monthly or quarterly evening meetings required)
- Good understanding of financial information
- Demonstration of organization and work load in dependency
- Reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Illinois Community Association Management License (
* required) - Condominium experience
- Administrative, customer service and supervisory experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
