Salary Range: $61,050 - $90,250 annually

Full-time, on-site;
Monday‑Friday 7:00‑3:30 PM with on‑call responsibility as needed.

Primary Role

The Water Quality & Environmental Compliance Program Manager leads laboratory operations, oversees data review, prepares regulatory reports, and addresses customer inquiries. The manager maintains lab certifications, handles compliance oversight, and responds to water quality complaints.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage monitoring and reporting programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards for assigned facilities.
  • Conduct advanced sampling, analysis and special projects.
  • Obtain, prepare, file and maintain all regulatory reports and records.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and represent the company to regulators and customers.
  • Identify issues, initiate corrective actions and mitigate environmental violations.
  • Supervise, monitor and calibrate analyzers/equipment to maintain performance standards.
  • Conduct advanced projects and prepare reports as needed.
  • Investigate and respond to all water quality complaints or concerns.
Knowledge / Skills
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental standards, regulations and current legislation.
  • Regulatory knowledge of proper laboratory analytical testing methods.
  • Understanding principles of water and wastewater treatment and ability to troubleshoot systems.
Experience / Education
  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in water, wastewater, and laboratory operations.
Travel Requirements
  • Local travel within the service territory.
