Pay Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Behavioral Health Officer, the VP, Young Adult & Adolescent Services serves as the most senior operational leader for the Broadway Youth Center, managing daily activities, staff, and programs of the Center while establishing and implementing strategic vision. The VP, Young Adult & Adolescent Services ensures the mission of the Broadway Youth Center (BYC) is advanced in alignment with HBH’s mission and through strategic planning, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and community engagement.

This critical role cultivates a high performing environment focused on a culture of equity, inclusion, and collaboration while serving as the primary ambassador for BYC. Driving cross-functional collaboration, this role leverages industry knowledge and best practices to promote the vision of BYC and Howard Brown Health as well as supports culture enhancement and management efforts.

Principle Duties and Accountabilities Strategic Leadership
  • Provides strategic vision, direction, and measurable goals for all aspects of the Center as well as aligns all activities to the strategic plan of the HBH organization.
  • Consistently identifies core and essential needs of the Center’s population and concepts programming to meet needs in alignment with BYC’s developed and implemented business model.
  • Consistently evaluates the external environment toward evaluation and planning of risks, opportunities and threats while positioning BYC as a trusted nonprofit leader and advocates for youth rights and well-being.
  • In partnership with HBH’s data team, serves as the primary strategic leader for all BYC data needs, ensuring data is used to drive targeted and data-driven interventions, track outcomes, define analytical requirements and monitor multi-level performance.
  • Ensures responsible and ethical financial management within purview, including Center’s budget development, budget monitoring and management, resource planning and re-forecasting (where applicable).
  • Consistently evaluates the external environment toward evaluation and planning of risks, opportunities and threats.
  • Partners and collaborates with applicable and relevant stakeholders to integrate HBH service-line offerings toward ensuring a holistic Center experience.
  • Identifies and advocates for the resources and infrastructure needed to meet established goals and drive success.
  • Builds and collaborates in partnerships with nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, and community leaders.
