Job Description

The Sr. Project Manager, Research Solutions plays a critical role in ensuring the success of online market research projects by overseeing the entire project lifecycle—from launch to data delivery. This role is integral to exceeding client expectations through timely execution, methodological rigor, and exceptional client service. By managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment, the Senior Project Manager ensures accuracy, efficiency, and high‑quality outcomes that strengthen client relationships and drive repeat business.

Objectives
  • End‑to‑End Project Ownership:
    Manage the full lifecycle of complex market research projects—from scoping, design, and fieldwork through delivery, debriefs, and invoicing—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
  • Client Service & Relationship Management:
    Provide exceptional client service by acting as a trusted partner, maintaining strong relationships, meeting objectives, and offering strategic recommendations that drive repeat business.
  • Methodological Expertise & Best Practices:
    Apply advanced knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, ensuring projects are designed and executed with methodological rigor and industry best practices.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Vendor Management:
    Partner with internal teams and third‑party vendors to align on deliverables, delegate tasks, and guarantee excellence in execution and delivery.
  • Issue Resolution &

    Risk Management:

    Anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve project challenges (e.g., scope creep, quality risks, timeline delays), escalating and communicating effectively to protect client satisfaction and project success.
  • Mentorship & Team Development:
    Support the growth of junior and global staff by mentoring, coaching, and modeling best‑in‑class project management behaviors, fostering a collaborative and learning‑focused culture.
  • Reporting & Communication Excellence:
    Deliver clear and actionable reporting on project metrics, fieldwork performance, and client needs to both internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Manage market research projects of varying scale and complexity, emphasizing complex studies and high‑priority accounts.
  • Assume project ownership while working in a team environment to meet client needs.
  • Create a project roadmap that clearly defines goals, timelines, and the parties involved in meeting the project objectives.
  • Provide a high level of client service to build long‑term relationships with clients, ensure client objectives are met, provide optimization recommendations, and maintain clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Solid skillset with various research methodologies within the quantitative and qualitative market research space (e.g.; max/diff, conjoints, market sizing, mobile/geo‑fencing studies, IHUTs, online focus groups, etc.).
  • Highly knowledgeable in best practices for conducting market research throughout the entire research process (e.g.: from screening logic to question types to fielding and data delivery).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and delegate tasks to team members to ensure delivery excellence to clients.
