Site Manager

Salary: $90K-$125K Base

Location:

Remote with travel (60-90% travel depending on project lifecycle)

They have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join their team. This position is well-suited to a strong leader with excellent project management skills who is looking to take charge of on-site activities, ensuring timely and safe delivery of automated systems.

• Lead all on-site project activities, including mobilization, commissioning, and demobilization.
• Manage installation and integration of automated systems (shuttles, conveyors, AS/RS, robotics).
• Ensure the project meets schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Act as the on-site decision maker and escalation point for any issues.
• Own and enforce site safety program and compliance with safety standards (OSHA/local regulations).
• Conduct daily safety walks, toolbox talks, and safety audits.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain project flow.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for the customer, leading coordination meetings.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, and controls installation to ensure quality and specifications are met.
• Coordinate transition to commissioning teams and lead testing, validation, and acceptance.
• Produce site reports on progress, risks, safety, and budget.

• 5+ years of experience in site management, construction, or industrial installation.
• Experience with automated material handling systems or robotics.
• Proven leadership experience managing field teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication skills to manage customer relationships and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and safety requirements.
