As the on‑property sales leader, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue performance, building a high‑performing team, and positioning your hotel for long‑term success. You’ll lead from the front; owning strategy, strengthening market presence, and delivering results that matter.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with ownership goals and market demand
- Drive group, business transient, and catering revenue through proactive prospecting and account management
- Analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and adjust strategy
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the on‑property team to exceed revenue goals
- Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and community stakeholders
- Conduct impactful sales calls, presentations, and site tours to convert high‑value business
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with a strong ability in presenting performance to senior leadership and ownership
- Ensure brand standards, systems, and sales processes are executed with consistency and excellence
- 5+ years of hotel sales leadership experience
- Proven success driving revenue growth in a competitive market
- Experience developing annual budgets and strategic sales plans
- Comfortable presenting financial performance to senior leadership and ownership
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong business acumen, leadership presence, and decision-making ability
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships at all levels
- Strong presentation skills with clients, teams, and ownership groups
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, on‑property environment
- Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to balance strategy and execution
- Organized, adaptable, and results‑driven
