About the opportunity

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director serves as the strategic and operational leader of Park Plaza Senior Living and the primary ambassador for the organization to donors, service providers, staff and residents.

You will lead a talented team of professionals and collaborate with residents, families, staff, donors, and community stakeholders to strengthen Park Plaza’s reputation for excellence, ensure the organization’s direction is resident centric, while advancing its mission and strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished and resilient executive with a strong operational foundation, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a hospitality-minded leadership style. The Executive Director must balance strategic vision with disciplined execution while fostering a culture of accountability, responsiveness, transparency, and service excellence.

What You’ll Accomplish

As Executive Director, you will:

  • Build and inspire a high-performing, accountable, service-oriented culture
  • Enhance the resident experience through exceptional hospitality, services, engagement, and responsiveness
  • Strengthen occupancy, admissions, and resident retention
  • Expand community visibility, referral networks, and strategic partnerships
  • Advance organizational sustainability through sound financial stewardship and operational excellence
  • Support fundraising initiatives and deepen donor and community engagement
  • Partner closely with the Board of Directors to guide strategic planning and organizational growth
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is an accomplished executive who combines strategic vision with operational excellence and a genuine passion for serving older adults.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, hospitality management, nonprofit management, public administration, finance, or a related field
  • Seven or more years of progressive senior leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, nonprofit management, or another complex service-oriented environment
  • Proven success leading multi-functional operations and high-performing teams
  • Strong financial, operational, and organizational leadership skills
  • Experience driving accountability through performance management and operational metrics
  • Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and change leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to resident-centered service and hospitality excellence
  • Ability to engage and serve residents representing the broad spectrum of Jewish traditions and practices
  • Experience supporting fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and community partnerships
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $175,000–$210,000
, commensurate with experience.

Park Plaza offers a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance. Further information on the benefits package is available for candidates who proceed past first-round interview.
