Senior Area Applications Manager – Central Region (Remote)
Accountable for regional business outcomes across quality, delivery, customer experience, cost, and talent for a multi‑state Applications organization. Leads people leaders (manager of managers) and delivers sustained results through disciplined operating rhythm, financial stewardship, and cross‑functional alignment.
Responsibilities- Own regional business outcomes across quality, delivery, customer experience, cost, and people results.
- Lead through people leaders with accountability for leader capability, performance management, engagement, and succession readiness.
- Build and execute the regional operating plan, including demand forecasting, capacity modeling, prioritization, and trade‑off decisions.
- Own financial stewardship for the region, managing controllable expenses and operating targets.
- Establish and sustain a rigorous operating rhythm (Daily Management / Policy Deployment) and translate performance data into corrective actions.
- Serve as the regional integration point across Service, Sales, Operations/PMO, and Commercial leaders to resolve systemic issues.
- Lead enterprise or cross‑regional initiatives with measurable impact beyond direct span of control.
- Minimum 12‑15 years of experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years or Master’s degree with 12+ years. - Demonstrated accountability for regional or multi‑site performance outcomes (quality, delivery, customer experience, productivity).
- Experience with financial or cost management, including controllable expenses, capacity, and productivity decisions.
- Leadership of cross‑functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders (Service, Sales, Operations/PMO, Commercial).
Physical Requirements
- Travel up to 50 % within the area and overnight travel as required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 25 lb.
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology and Master’s in business administration.
- 5+ years people leadership experience, including leaders of managers and/or supervisors.
- Experience working within a Danaher Operating Company or similar matrixed enterprise environment.
- Supporting customers in a regulated diagnostics or healthcare setting.
- Annual salary range: $155,000 to $175,000.
- Eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
