Ryan Companies US, Inc. is inviting applications for the Director of Business Development to join our national Healthcare sector team.
We seek a professional with at least 15 years of success working as a property or asset manager in a real estate management or property management firm, capable of leading business development, client relations, and client support across multiple regions.
What You’ll Do- Lead the creation and implementation of client relationship plans focused on satisfaction.
- Identify and create new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Build internal and external relationships with property owners, brokers, tenants, and partners to support REM/RBS growth.
- Represent Ryan at trade organizations and within the community.
- Negotiate and close management agreement transactions with clients and prospects.
- Assist the SVP with corporate budgeting, achieving fee targets, and developing quotes, scopes, and fees for new business.
- Coordinate portfolio implementation of client relationships, bridging gaps among leasing, tenant improvement, completion, and occupancy.
- Apply market and portfolio knowledge to identify growth opportunities and strategic gaps.
- Contribute to strategic planning and leasing oversight, providing clients with insights to maximize value.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Economics, or Real Estate.
- Completion of two professional certifications such as CCIM, CPM, or RPA.
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a property manager or asset manager.
- Proven ability to foster successful client relationships and collaborate with the brokerage community.
- Understanding of asset markets for new opportunity assessment.
- High emotional intelligence, self‑awareness, and resilience in challenging situations.
- Strong influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent computer and financial analysis capabilities.
Base salary $145,000–$180,000 per year, with potential commission and incentive opportunities.
