Executive Director of Enterprise Proposal Development & Events

We are seeking a dynamic Director to lead our Enterprise Proposal & National Accounts Support team. This leader will partner with Sales and Account Management, developing high-quality proposals and managing content across Commercial, RX, and Group Medicare (Blue and Health Spring) sectors. The role will also support Blue branded quotes in collaboration with Dearborn National for specific membership thresholds.

You will manage teams supporting Enterprise National Accounts Meetings (for internal and external stakeholders) as well as Open Enrollment requests for Enterprise National Accounts and regional markets in Oklahoma, Illinois, and Texas.

• Enterprise-Wide Support: Respond to bid documents and proposals, crafting value-added, risk-mitigated solutions to meet business objectives.
• Process Leadership: Develop tools, resources, and standardized processes across the enterprise for strategic proposals, SME engagement, and deliverables.
• Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives for process optimization, technology leverage, and stakeholder efficiency.
• Event & Meeting Management: Oversee staffing for more than 1,000 Open Enrollment meetings annually to support business growth and customer retention.
• Expert Oversight: Provide direction for large-scale meeting/event management, involving customers, brokers, consultants, and executive guests.
• Partnership Leadership: Collaborate with BCBSA, Consortium Health Plans, and consultants to drive operational consistency and best content practices.
• Best Practices Implementation: Continuously evaluate and enhance enterprise proposal operations to stay ahead of market and industry trends.
• Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and cost‑benefit analyses to ensure optimal ROI for projects and initiatives.
