Our Property & Casualty Transformation practice helps insurance clients improve and transform their commercial, specialty, personal and Excess & Surplus businesses in areas such as operating model redesign, capability assessment and roadmap design, business process transformation, technology and data enablement, organizational design, and post-merger integration.  We work across the value chain across distribution, products, underwriting, policy, claims, and billing. 

** The opportunity**  

We currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to lead client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services and manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts, with a specific focus on claims transformation.      

** Skills and attributes for success**    

You will work directly with clients to transform claims operations and influence client business and technology decisions to optimize the claim function.

** Your key responsibilities**   

+ Leading large-scale client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected time frames and on budget. You'll monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

+ Manage expectations of client service delivery.

+ Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business and P&C insurance and claims industry.

+ Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization.

+ Generate new business opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.

+ Demonstrate deep technical claims capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess in-depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in claims advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

+ Understand/communicate complex claim operational issues. Stay informed of and apply professional standards and firm policies.

+ Develop a strong personal brand and enhance the EY brand by writing articles, participating in industry groups, and speaking at conferences.   

** To qualify for this role you must have**  

+ A bachelor's degree and approximately 9 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience 

+ A minimum of 7+ years of delivery experience working with multiple project teams
