Industrial Architecture Team Lead

In the role of Industrial Architecture Team Lead, you will manage the operations of the production section, oversee staff development, coordinate project workloads, and ensure compliance with company policies while fostering collaboration across studio teams and partnering business groups.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for operations of the production section, including staff development, morale, and marketing support.
  • Administer studio staff, manage team utilization, and balance project workloads within the area and in coordination with national industrial architecture studios.
  • Lead and coordinate services with other local studios, national industrial architecture studios, and engineering business groups.
  • Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through a proactive project‑management system.
  • Implement, monitor, and support company policy.
  • Select, train, develop, and manage studio staff.
  • Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Principal, Project Managers, and other studio leaders on project staffing.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional registration, license, or certification may be required based on role.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Good leadership and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to actively participate in the employee‑owned culture of the company.
