Responsibilities
- Manage a program of projects for our health clients, defining project dependencies and prioritizing workload.
- Continuously monitor project health via resourcing, profitability, and burn rates.
- Work closely with Client Engagement and Delivery teams to architect solutions that best meet client requirements.
- Become an expert in our health clients’ medical/legal/regulatory review processes.
- Create/draft scopes of work and change orders.
- Own resourcing for each project by collaborating with discipline leads and resourcing management to determine assignments.
- Support creation of RFP responses with other teams within VML Health and new business engagement.
- Manage internal teams and client relationships in alignment with the Client Engagement team.
- Maintain direct client relationships with Product Owners and client management leadership.
- Responsible for interviewing and making recommendations to hire at the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager levels.
- Serve as a key point of contact and liaison for cross‑divisional teams, agency peers and management.
- 6+ years of project management experience including work at a marketing agency and with pharmaceutical brands.
- Proactive and assertive leadership in problem‑solving, financial success of projects, maintaining timelines, and reducing inefficiencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of resolving conflict with productive outcomes.
- Ability to work across departments with diplomacy and understanding of others’ roles.
- Ability to manage multiple work‑streams effectively and efficiently.
- Extensive team management skills for teams of 5+.
- Capacity to view problems at a system level and align solutions with strategic direction.
- Proactive, adaptable, and flexible.
- Life‑long learner with commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to operate under tight deadlines with complex business/technical solutions.
- Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Proven experience in program management within a marketing agency, focusing on healthcare clients.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is $60,000—$140,000 USD. Individual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications. Hybrid work model: teams in the office average four days a week.
