Position Overview
Senior Manager – Finance Workstream Lead (Workday) responsible for client‑facing engagements throughout all project phases (pursuit to delivery), project management, intensive data analysis, practice development, and mentoring of Coachees.
Responsibilities- Manage project and engagement activities, leading cross‑functional teams through design, build, testing, and deployment of Workday Financials.
- Conduct client‑focused data analysis to implement impactful recommendations.
- Lead project and workstream planning and management, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise across Workday Financial modules, including FDM/Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Projects, Banking and Settlement, and others.
- Mentor and develop junior team members (Coachees) and support professional growth of Huron staff in project and technical areas.
- Coordinate overall practice development, including solution design and implementation support.
- Translate information from meetings into clear documentation for stakeholders and project teams.
- 8–10 years of experience in Workday implementation, with a focus on Finance modules in the Healthcare industry.
- Workday Certification or equivalent practical experience in Grants Management, Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Procure to Pay, or Supplier Accounts.
- Experience leading Workday Financials design, customer confirmation sessions, and configuring all aspects of Workday Financials and Customer Accounts functionality.
- Deep understanding of Workday Payroll Accounting and Effort Certification.
- Strong communication skills, establishing credibility with senior-level university and hospital executives.
- Excellent time‑management, prioritization, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration.
- Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies; proven thought leadership (speaking engagements or publications) is a plus.
- Ability to train and participate in professional development of staff in both project and technical dimensions.
Base salary range: $165,000 – $190,000. Eligible for an annual incentive compensation program, with a total estimated compensation range of $181,000 – $228,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, and other wellness programs.
