Summary

The Bridge Center is an initiative of the Public Health Institute (PHI) that strengthens the impact of hospital emergency departments (EDs) on population health issues and health equity. Our largest program, CA Bridge, has supported over 290 hospitals over the last six years to implement medication for addiction treatment (MAT) in the ED. Our Bridge National Expansion Project (National Bridge) builds capacity for ED MAT in every state.

Our Emergency Medical Services program extends the administration of low barrier MAT to paramedics. Our Emergency Department Syphilis/HIV/HCV Screening Program (EDSP) expands routine opt-out testing for these infections to increase public health equity and provide immediate care for people at highest risk. Our Access Bridge program builds the capacity of America’s emergency departments (EDs) to serve as reproductive health safety nets.

The National Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of National Bridge training and technical assistance work with hospitals, health systems, and local, state level, and regional agencies and organizations. In collaboration with the National Clinical Implementation Manager, the National Project Manager will lead site engagement and communication, and support development and maintenance of grant activities, including trainings and technical assistance, and national content and program materials.

The National Project Manager leads program operations related to national activities in collaboration with the Bridge operations team and coordinates planning and logistics for presentations and speaking opportunities.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position with a schedule of 40 hours/week. The position is primarily remote and open to candidates nationwide. The incumbent must be able to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area (CA), 2-4 times a year.

Full salary range for this position: $77,625 to $112,620 per year. The typical hiring range for this position is from $77,625 (minimum) to $95,123 (midpoint), based on 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined using a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity consideration and budget availability.

POSITION GOALS

• Successful management of projects related to national training and technical assistance programs
• Tracking project tasks, roles, deliverables, and timelines on behalf of several funded projects simultaneously
• Effective facilitation of national program functions using professional project management tools and techniques

• Under the direction of the National Clinical Implementation Manager, facilitate planning, implementation, and tracking of training and technical assistance related to national projects in conjunction with program and clinical implementation leaders
• Lead site engagement, including dissemination of training materials, scheduling meetings and site visits, and tracking progress of sites engaged through national implementation projects
• Plan and coordinate the drafting and completion of site summaries and grant reports on time and in line with contract deliverables and in conjunction with the team leadership (National Clinical Implementation Manager, Executive Leadership Team members, and Implementation Leaders) and operations team
• Provide project support to maintain relationships and liaise with national clinical leadership and representatives through regular outreach and communication and responses to inquiries and requests for technical assistance, training, and materials
• Manage and organize national content in collaboration with program and clinical team including routine updates of training materials and customization for individual sites
